M.I.A.

Good Afternoon !!

I feel like I've been missing-in-action over the last few weeks, and I haven't had any time to myself.

We've had a family holiday to Canberra to visit my new niece, and brand new nephew. My niece Hayley is six months old now, and such a beautiful girl. She's developing her own personality, and she's such a happy baby. It was so much fun spending time with her, and of course catching up with her mum and dad. Our new nephew, Michael, was born 4 days before we arrived!! I can't believe how tiny he is .... you seem to forget how little they once were. It's just a shame we live so far away. I can feel plenty of "road trips" to Canberra in the future to visit these new additions to our family.
I've also been extremely busy with a very good friend's wedding. It's coming up in just under 2 weeks, and I'm going to be her Matron of Honour. So as you can imagine, it's been a crazy time finalising dresses and all those other things a wedding involves.

I just finished making a wishing well for this wedding too, and you'll be able to see the photos below. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and have to thank my gorgeous friend Cassie for all her help and inspiration. If it wasn't for her, I'd still be staring at a blank canvas, not knowing where to begin. Thanks Cassie xoxo

My little boy Liam is visiting with his grandparents for 3 weeks now, so I'm hoping to have a lot more time for scrapping / colouring / card making, etc. etc. Fingers crossed I might even be able to get my Christmas cards done. I just need to make a "to do" list, and work through everything one by one.

Anyway, here are some pics of the wishing well. I got a bit carried away with the photos, so I hope I don't bore you with them.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care out there,

Big hugz
Honor xoxo

You have done such a Brilliant job with this wishing well miss honor!! Even though I don't agree with the Bride's colour choices lol, the blue looks fantastic on this almost white wishing well, it is such a great contrast! The cherry blossoms are perfect for this as they are white in the middle, and Tilda's wedding bouquet in blue is just too cute too! And the butterflies add some whimsy which I love. Your friend is sooo lucky to have you and now this gorgeous wishing well!
Fantastic work honey!! Luv Ya! *hugz*
