..... and what a cold morning it is here today! However, I've cranked up the heater, and all is well again!! As promised last week, here is a photo of the birthday present I made my gorgeous god-daughter. I've adapted the Kaisercraft advent calendar to house all her little trinkets, hair accessories, jewellery, etc. I've used Three Bugs In A Rug "Savannah" range of papers, which is just adorable for a 7 year old. I added a Magnolia image, coloured with Copic markers, some flowers from my stash, and flowersoft under the unicorn and scattered in the background to look like fairy dust. She fell in love with it immediately, and I had many hugs and thanks-you's throughout the day, which was lovely.
That's all from me for now. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to do anything over the last few days. With a hubby who's been sick, and a three year old keeping me awake at night with bad dreams, my days have been full of just trying to make it through till bed time. I've promised myself if I can get all my housework done this morning, I'm allowed some time to practice my Copic colouring!! So, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go ........
Hope you all have a lovely day, and thanks for visiting!!
Cheers,
Honor

Good Afternoon,
Well, what a creative day it has been. This morning I went to a class at Chandon, and it was awesome!! As soon as I've added my photos, I'll upload some pics for all to see.
Below are photos of the birthday card I've made for my god-daughter, Madison. The first photo is of the inside. I've never decorated the inside of a card before, and I wanted to keep it simple. So I added a matching piece of paper, put some double-sided tape just down the left hand side, and the rest of it is lose. It sort of has the effect of a page in a book. The papers I used are from Three Bugs In A Rug's "Princess" range, and match the BTP that I've made for her present. As soon as I give her the present this weekend, I'll upload some pics. The flowers I've used are from my ever-growing stash that I've been collecting from Bizzy Becs (www.bizzybecscardmakingscrapbooking.com.au) and Wild Orchids (www.wildorchidcrafts.com).
I hope everyone has been having a lovely day. Lachlan left for school camp this morning for 3 days. He is off to Melbourne, staying in a motel, and taking in all the tourist sites of Melbourne. They were all so excited when I dropped him off at the train station this morning. It's a pretty good camp, certainly different from those we went on when I was in primary school!
Thanks for stopping by. Take care.

Good Afternoon,
Below are two pics of my latest cards. The second card with Edwin is my first boy card using Copics and Magnolia stamps, and I am so pleased how well it went with the scrap paper I had in my stash. I'm loving using pinks and "girly" papers at the moment, as only having 2 sons, I quite often don't use things like flowers, etc.
I've just finished working on a BTP project for my god-daughter's 7th birthday. When I have given her the present, I will show you what I've done. I hope she likes it!!
It's almost time to pick up my eldest son from school. So I hope everyone has been having a great day. Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers, xo

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my blog! This is my first post, and I have to admit this "blogging" is very new to me. I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing, but hopefully with some practice, it will improve.
I've posted a photo below of what I have been up to lately. I'm totally addicted to Magnolia stamps and Copic colouring at the moment, and have been pretty pleased with the results so far.
This card is my first ever entry into an online competition. The competition is at Bizzy Becs, and you can find her website at http://www.bizzybecscardmakingscrapbooking.com.au/ . Bec has an awesome website, and you'll be sure to find all your favourite products there.
Anyway, I'd better be off now. I hope you've enjoyed my first post, and thanks for stopping by.
